Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information FOREsight (the "Service"), operated by Spark Momentum LLC ("FOREsight," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address, used to sign in and to contact you about your account. You can sign in with a passwordless email magic link, a mobile phone number, or your Google account. If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares basic profile information with us (such as your name, email address, and profile image); we never receive your Google password.
• Alert preferences. The courses, dates, time windows, and party sizes you choose to watch, so we can send you relevant alerts.
• Notification details. If you enable push notifications, a browser push subscription; if you opt in to text alerts, your mobile phone number. These let us deliver your alerts.
• Billing information. When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We do not see or store your full card number. We retain limited records such as your subscription status and customer identifier.
• Usage and device data. Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected by our hosting provider to operate and secure the Service.
• Usage analytics. We collect limited, first-party analytics about how the Service is used, such as pages viewed and aggregate interaction events (for example, opening the alert form or clicking a call to action). We use this information to understand overall usage and improve the Service. We do not use these analytics to maintain a detailed history of an individual user's activity.
• Acquisition attribution. Limited first-touch information about how you discovered FOREsight, to understand which marketing channels are effective. This may include a broad source such as Google Ads, organic search, direct traffic, or referral traffic; campaign information; the first page you visited; and the time of your first visit. If you create an account, this attribution may be associated with your account so we can understand whether a marketing source leads to signups, trials, or paid subscriptions. We do not use this information to create a detailed behavioral profile of your activity or retain raw advertising click identifiers or full referring URLs in our attribution records.

How we use your information

• To operate the Service and deliver the tee time alerts you request.
• To create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-in.
• To process your subscription, billing, and free trial.
• To communicate with you about your account, alerts, and important Service updates.
• To understand how people discover FOREsight and measure the effectiveness of our marketing.
• To monitor, secure, debug, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers we share with

We share information with trusted providers only as needed to run the Service:

• Stripe for payment processing and subscription management.
• Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, and security.
• Resend for sending account and sign-in emails.
• Push and messaging providers (such as your browser's push service and our SMS provider) to deliver the notifications you opt into.
• Google for optional Google sign-in and for advertising conversion measurement (Google Ads).

These providers receive or process information as necessary to provide their services to us and are subject to their respective contractual, privacy, and security obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Text messages (SMS)

Text alerts are optional. If you add and verify your mobile number, we use it solely to send you the tee time alerts you ask for and a one-time verification code. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell your phone number, and we do not use it for marketing. Message frequency varies with your alerts; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We process SMS through a third-party messaging provider solely to deliver these messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and similar browser storage for essential functions such as keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences (for example, your favorite courses).

We also use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Google may use cookies or advertising identifiers, such as information identifying an ad click, to attribute conversions to our ads. FOREsight does not retain the raw Google click identifier in our own attribution records. Information processed by Google through its advertising services is subject to Google's privacy practices. You can control ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings, review how Google handles data in the Google Privacy Policy, and manage or clear cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, operate our business, and meet legal, security, and accounting obligations. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account within a reasonable period, except where continued retention is required or permitted by law.

Historical tee time availability and cancellation data collected from golf booking systems is maintained separately to operate and improve FOREsight's monitoring and prediction features and is not part of your personal account information.

Your choices and rights

• You can update your alert preferences and notification settings at any time in your account.
• You can cancel your subscription anytime (see our Cancellation and Refund Policy).
• You may request access to, correction or deletion of, or a copy of personal information we maintain about you by contacting us.
• You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those messages.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account (see our Terms of Service). The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
